Senior Level | Social Media, Digital Communications & Event Coordination
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital Media & Events Coordinator will lead the creation and execution of high-impact digital content and the planning and coordination of organizational events that elevate Etijah's brand and audience engagement. This is a creative and operational leadership role for a forward-thinking professional who harnesses AI tools, meticulous planning, and data storytelling to produce results that matter.
The ideal candidate is bilingual (Arabic/English), highly organized, digitally fluent, and actively using AI tools to elevate both content quality and event execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Strategy & AI-Powered Execution
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with Etijah's brand and marketing objectives.
Create platform-tailored content — written posts, short-form videos, graphics, reels, and stories — using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, and Runway.
Build and maintain detailed content calendars to ensure consistent, on-time publishing across all channels.
Apply AI-assisted workflows to optimize caption writing, visual ideation, content repurposing, and scheduling.
2. Event Planning & Coordination
Plan and coordinate Etijah events end-to-end — from concept development and logistics to on-ground execution and post-event reporting.
Liaise with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery within budget and timeline.
Produce event promotional materials including social campaigns, invitations, and recap content aligned with the digital content plan.
Document events through photos, videos, and written summaries for reporting, archiving, and content repurposing.
Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare structured reports with key takeaways and recommendations.
3. Campaign & Community Management
Support marketing campaigns with creative concepts that increase reach, visibility, and measurable engagement.
Manage brand communities by responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries with professionalism and consistent brand voice.
Monitor and analyze performance using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and platform dashboards.
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with clear data insights and actionable recommendations.
4. Planning, Organization & Workflow
Lead campaign planning cycles — from briefing and content mapping to scheduling, publishing, and post-analysis.
Maintain organized digital asset libraries, content pipelines, and approval workflows across Google Drive and SharePoint.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines without compromising quality or consistency.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with project coordinators and leadership to align digital content and events with organizational goals and milestones.
Stay current on AI developments in digital media and proactively introduce tools that improve team efficiency and content output.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Event Management, or a related field (minimum GPA: 3.0).
2–3 years of hands-on experience in social media management, digital content creation, and/or event coordination.
Technical Skills — Essential
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hands-on experience with AI content tools: ChatGPT or Claude for copywriting; Midjourney, DALL-E, or Adobe Firefly for visuals; CapCut AI or Runway for video; Canva AI for design.
Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Meta Business Suite) and content analytics.
Experience in event planning including vendor coordination, logistics management, and on-ground execution.
Core Competencies
Exceptional organizational and project management skills across both content production and event delivery.
Creative storytelling with a sharp eye for visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
Data-literate with the ability to translate analytics into actionable content and event strategy.

Nice to Have
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Canva Pro.
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization for search.
Background in nonprofit, youth development, or social impact organizations.
